SOLO is an expression of empowerment and autonomy, told from the perspective of a psychological dominatrix.
The gothic, electro, r’n'b tune is a continuation of some of the vibes explored in Angel in Hell.
The accompanying video is live on Youtube.
The songs on ANGEL IN HELL are the first released by Queen of Uncool that are not soley produced by Queen of Uncool.
Producer Onhell forms the basis of the tracks, while haunting melodies and sometimes strange lyrics were created by Queen of Uncool. Subconscious matter is given an equal platform alongside the subjects of PTSD and loss. There is as much fantasy as truth here, but it's up to the listener to
decide which is which.

LOVE & WAR is therapy in altrock form. While much of it expresses the anger and desperation felt when you are burnt out on life and there is nothing there to catch you, picking up the guitar in a quiet place and writing from the darkness helps process pain and reconnect with all emotions. When you live in full awareness of the horrors of the world, it can be difficult just waking up each day, but cynicism is the flip side of romanticism: you can only give up and give in if you believed in the first place. This is Love & War.

Written in the pre-covid era, with the promise of some sort of romance on the horizon, BRUISED (second single from ‘Love & War’) documents the comings and goings
of Queen of Uncool from the ever intoxicating
will-they-won’t-they dance.
The chorus came in a dream and haunted as an ear worm for days after, until the song was reluctantly written. The production shadows the essence of some of the best of 90s alt rock bands, with a very loving nod to a particular Brit vibe...

is an energetic alt rock tune about the frustration of going over old ground, whether that is repeating the same stories to different therapists, or the drudgery of endless small talk with people you don’t know. The first release from the full band EP – LOVE & WAR.
“Ultimately it’s all about being heard, the bands I grew up listening to have saved my life many times, I want to do the same for others, I may be a loner, but I know I’m not alone” – Queen of Uncool.

Living with very real threats against the right to create, Queen of Uncool fought back for a time with a pair of headphones.
The fight to make music became a fight to survive, and Girl Outside was slowly nurtured through these times, to address the issues of survival from different angles.
Saying you like one kind of music is like saying all your friends have the same personality- and born out of influences such as Madonna, Kate Bush, Shakespears Sister and 90s dance music, ensures Girl Outside birthed a diverse
spectrum of songs.

One day, a fatigued grrl, falls over a guitar amp and meets a guy. It might have been a meet cute, but it was a pretty strange journey from there.
An EP of songs written from first crush to bitter loss.
Winter just about sums up the seasons of getting to know someone, with an emphasis on the coldest time.
